What’s New?

What’s New?

I get that question a lot.

Let’s see if I can answer some of the common questions I receive via email and social media.
Those of you who follow me on Facebook are already privy to a lot of this information, but I share a lot of information, so I know it’s easy to get confused!

What are you working on?
I am currently working on the last story in Imagine.

How many more books in the Next Generation series?
The last ‘official’ book in the Next Generation series, Blown Away, is now available at most retailers.
Breathless and Imagine are two short story compilations that will round out the Nashville Nights series. Each book consists of two short stories. They will be released in June and July and the blurbs and covers for these books will be added to the website soon!

When will you be releasing Music City Moguls? How about Texas Titans?
I will be releasing the first book in the Music City Moguls series, Stone Cold, in July. Some of you may have already read that one when it was released as a free weekly in January, but it will be offered with an epilogue this time and may contain some minor changes. The goal is to eventually make this book free at all retail outlets, but it may take Amazon a while to price-match, so it will be offered at Amazon for .99 until they price match to free. Fingers crossed they will eventually follow suit when iTunes and Barnes and Noble offers it for free.

Is Starting Over part of a series?
Starting Over is a single title. The expected release date for this one is August 2013, and the cover and blurb for this book will be added to the website very soon.

Do you plan to release two series at the same time?
Yes! The first Texas Titans book will be released in September 2013 and the goal is to stagger the releases from then on. Music City Moguls and Texas Titans will have six and seven books (so far). I say that because Nashville Nights started out as a six book series as well, so I can never say for sure where my muse might take me! There will be a new release in the Music City Moguls one month and Texas Titans the following month.

Will there be a connection between the new series and Nashville Nights?
Many of you have fallen in love with the characters in Nashville and have asked whether there will be a connection between Music City Moguls and Nashville Nights. MCM will be a very different series with a different cast of characters, but I anticipate a few of our favorite Nashville Nights characters may be making cameo appearances in this new series.

Are you releasing your backlist in 2013/14?
It’s true, I do have an extensive backlist that I will be releasing throughout 2013/14. This consists of two single titles, one trilogy, and a six book series. I will slowly be editing and re-vising them over the next year, so as soon as we have the details, information will be posted on the website.

Do you have any book signings or parties planned? Will you be attending any events in my hometown?
We will be adding an Events page to the website in the not too distant future that will highlight the places I plan to be for book signings, private parties, conferences, etc.

When do you plan to launch your street team?
We will be starting a street team for dedicated readers in the coming months. While we don’t have a set launch date just yet, information with links will be posted on the website as it becomes available.

If I haven’t answered your question, please feel free to email me via the contact page on my website, comment on this blog or connect with me on Facebook or Twitter. The connect buttons for social media are on the website.
2013/14 are going to be crazy busy for me, but I am so excited about the new books I plan to release and I hope you will be too!
